The Barwaaqo Project has successfully wrapped up a four-day workshop in Garowe (25–28 November 2025) focused on strengthening project systems, improving operations, and accelerating innovation across all implementation regions.
The workshop brought together the National Project Coordination Unit (NPCU), PIUs from all Federal Member States, component leads, and technical specialists to review progress, address operational challenges, and design a shared roadmap for 2026–2028.
In his closing remarks, National Project Coordinator Dr Abdullahi Elmi Mohamed commended the active contributions of all teams and reaffirmed Barwaaqo’s commitment to building resilient and climate-adaptive rural communities.
The new action roadmap crafted during the workshop will guide the project’s next phase—one that prioritises innovation, efficiency, and stronger community engagement.
